The difference between "ChatGPT writes nonsense" and "ChatGPT saved my day" is how you phrase the request. Here are ten proven formulas — plug in your data and go.

Working with Text

1. Document digest. "Summarize this text in 5 bullet points. For each: one sentence of substance and one number or fact from the text: [text]" 2. Client email. "Write a polite business email: [to whom], [goal], [3 key points]. Confident tone, no corporate speak, under 120 words." 3. Rephrasing. "Rewrite this text in plain language for someone without specialist knowledge. Keep every fact: [text]"

Content

4. Post outline. "Suggest 5 structures for a post about [topic] for [platform]. For each — a hook first paragraph." 5. Headlines. "Give me 10 headline options for an article about [topic]. Half with numbers, half with a question. No clickbait." 6. Content plan. "Build a 2-week content plan for [niche]: 3 posts a week; for each — topic, format, key idea."

Analysis and Decisions

7. Pros and cons. "I'm choosing between [option A] and [option B] for [goal]. Build a comparison table: price, speed, risks, long-term outlook." 8. Weak spots. "Here's my plan: [plan]. Find 5 weak spots and suggest how to close each one."

Learning

9. Explain a topic. "Explain [topic] in three passes: first to a child, then to a student, then to a specialist." 10. Trainer. "Ask me 10 questions on [topic], from easy to hard. After each answer, review my mistakes."

The Golden Rule

A good prompt = role + task + context + output format. The more specific each part, the more useful the result. This skill — prompt engineering — is the entire first module of our course, "Land of Words."
